1. Terms of use

Open page →

Ne3meh (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) is a food-surplus rescue marketplace for Lebanon. Businesses list unsold or near-expiry food at a discount; customers reserve in the app or website and pick up in person.

By creating an account, browsing listings, or reserving a bag, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ne3meh.

  • Marketplace role. Ne3meh connects customers with partner businesses. We do not prepare, store, or sell the food ourselves. The sale is between you and the business; payment is cash on pickup.
  • Eligibility. You must be able to legally enter into contracts in Lebanon and provide a valid phone number for account verification and pickup coordination.
  • Accurate information. Keep your name, phone, and account details truthful. Misuse (fake accounts, bulk reservation abuse, harassment) may lead to suspension.
  • Pickup only. Ne3meh does not offer delivery in the current product. You are responsible for collecting your bag during the stated pickup window.
  • Surprise bags. Contents of a “surprise bag” may vary. Listings describe category, approximate value, price, and window — not a guaranteed menu.
  • Changes. We may update these policies. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version. Material changes will be noted with a new “Last updated” date.

2. Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to run a pickup-based marketplace and to keep both sides safe and accountable.

What we collect

  • Account data — name, Lebanese phone number, password (stored hashed), and optional profile details you provide.
  • Reservations — listings you claim, pickup windows, status (reserved, picked up, cancelled, no-show), and reviews.
  • Location — approximate location you share or allow so we can show nearby bags (map / “near you”). You can browse without precise GPS, but results may be less useful.
  • Device & usage — basic logs (app version, crash reports, IP for security) to keep the service reliable.
  • Partner business data — business profile, listings, reservation dashboard activity, and contact details for onboarding and billing.

How we use it

  • Create and secure your account (including OTP / phone verification).
  • Show listings, process reservations, and notify you of pickup windows.
  • Share reservation identity with the partner so they can hand over the bag.
  • Prevent fraud, no-show abuse, and platform misuse.
  • Improve the product and communicate service updates (you can opt out of marketing messages where offered).

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share what is necessary with: (1) the partner business for your reservation, (2) infrastructure providers that host the app and send SMS/push, under confidentiality obligations, and (3) authorities if required by Lebanese law.

Retention & your rights

We keep account and reservation records as long as needed to operate the service and resolve disputes. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting us at hello@ne3meh.app. Some records may be retained where we must (e.g. fraud prevention or legal obligation).

3. Food safety & liability

Ne3meh helps rescue good food that would otherwise go to waste. Partner businesses remain responsible for preparing, storing, labeling, and handing over food in line with applicable Lebanese food-safety rules and common sense.

  • Partner responsibility. Businesses must only list food that is still safe and fit to sell. They should not list items they would not serve to a paying walk-in customer under the same conditions.
  • Customer judgment. Inspect what you receive at pickup. If something looks or smells wrong, do not consume it — raise it with the business and with Ne3meh so we can follow up.
  • Allergies & diet. Surprise bags may contain allergens. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, ask the business before accepting the bag, or prefer specific-item listings when available.
  • Platform limitation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ne3meh is not liable for illness, spoilage, or quality disputes arising from food prepared and sold by partner businesses. We will investigate serious reports and may suspend partners who repeatedly put customers at risk.

4. Reservations & no-shows

Open page →

A reservation holds a bag for you during the pickup window. Paying cash at pickup completes the purchase with the business.

  • Show up on time. Arrive within the window shown on the listing. Late arrivals may forfeit the bag if the business has already closed or reallocated stock.
  • Cancel early. If you cannot make it, cancel in the app as soon as you know — so someone else can rescue that bag.
  • No-shows. Repeated no-shows harm partner trust. We may limit reservations, require confirmation, or suspend accounts with a high no-show rate.
  • Sold out / cancelled by partner. Stock can change. If a listing is cancelled or sold out after you reserved, we will notify you when we can; no cash is owed until pickup.
  • Reviews. Reviews should be honest and respectful. We may remove abusive or fake reviews.

5. Business partners

Partners use Ne3meh to turn unsold food into found revenue instead of loss. By listing on the platform you agree that:

  • Listings are accurate (price, quantity, pickup window, category).
  • You honor valid reservations during the window and only accept cash as agreed for the current product.
  • You keep food safe until handover and handle customer complaints about your products in good faith.
  • Platform fees or subscriptions (when applicable) are separate from the customer–business cash transaction and will be described in your partner agreement.
  • Ne3meh may pause or remove listings that violate these policies or damage trust on either side of the marketplace.

6. Cookies & analytics

The website and apps may use essential cookies or local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure basic performance. We do not use third-party advertising trackers in the current product. If we add optional analytics later, we will describe them here and offer choices where required.
